Planning Your Stay

What is the check-in and check-out time?

Our standard check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. However, we are happy to accommodate early check-in or late check-out requests based on availability. Please contact us in advance to arrange this.

Do you offer airport or railway station transfers?

Yes, we can arrange convenient and reliable transfers from the Anuradhapura Railway Station (a 5-minute drive) or from major airports (like Bandaranaike International Airport - CMB) for an additional charge. Please let us know your flight or train details when booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

Is Divulgahagedara suitable for children?

Absolutely! Our triple rooms in both Nelum and Manel Villa are ideal for families. The spacious garden and plunge pool also provide a safe and enjoyable environment for children.

Do you allow pets?

To ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, we regret that we cannot accommodate pets.


Accommodation & Facilities

What is the difference between Nelum Villa and Manel Villa?

Both villas offer a unique charm. *Nelum Villa* is designed as a private retreat with a blend of rustic and modern elements, featuring a common kitchenette. *Manel Villa* has the warmth of a recently refurbished, contemporary Sri Lankan-style home with a cozy common lounge. Both share the beautiful garden and plunge pool.

Are the rooms air-conditioned?

Yes, all our guest rooms are equipped with air conditioning to ensure your comfort in the Anuradhapura climate.

Is there Wi-Fi available?

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, common areas of both villas and the garden.

Is the plunge pool private or shared?

The large plunge pool is a shared facility between the two villas, set within the spacious garden. It is designed to be a serene spot for all our guests to relax and unwind.


Dining

What dining options are available?

We offer authentic Sri Lankan cuisine prepared by our expert local chef. Meals are served in a dedicated dining area. We operate on a “fresh on the table” policy, using ingredients sourced daily from local markets.

Do you cater to specific dietary requirements (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free)?

Yes, our chef is happy to prepare meals based on your dietary preferences and restrictions. Please inform us of any specific requirements at the time of booking or upon arrival so we can ensure a delightful dining experience for you.

Are meals included in the room rate?

Our standard room rates are on room only. We off BB, half-board (breakfast and dinner) or full-board options at an additional cost. Please contact us to arrange a meal plan that suits your needs.

Can we use the kitchenette in Nelum Villa?

Yes, the common kitchenette in Nelum Villa is available for guests to prepare light meals, snacks, or tea and coffee.

Do you allow amplified music to be played within the premises?

We are committed to offering a serene, peaceful environment for our guest, as such we do not allow amplified music to be played at our premises.


Experiences & Tours

How do we book the Ancient City Tour, Wilpattu Safari, or Ritigala Excursion?

You can easily book all exclusive experiences through our Resident Manager, who is a qualified national tour guide. He can assist in arranging personalized tours, trusted safari drivers, and all necessary logistics. It is best to book these in advance, especially for the Ritigala excursion which requires prior arrangement.

What is included in the Ritigala Excursion?

The half-day Ritigala excursion includes transport in a specially modified camper jeep, a field breakfast, and lunch amidst the lush surroundings. Advance booking is mandatory.

Can the Resident Manager accompany us on tours?

Yes, upon request, our Resident Manager can accompany you on tours like the Wilpattu Safari to assist with navigation, translation, and to provide deeper insights into the history and wildlife.

How far are the main attractions from the villa?

We are perfectly located for exploration. The sacred ancient city is just a 5 minute drive, the Nuwara Wewa reservoir is a 3-minute walk, and the entrance to Wilpattu National Park is approximately a 45-minute drive away.
